| We offer a variety of research and development robotic platforms for all applications. With full support, R&D services and CNC machine equipment, there is not platform or rover we can't make for you. In this area you will find our EMT Track Modules. These are the first ever available large complete robotic treads. They arrive assembled and ready to use. We can also build a customized chassis for you to attach them to or you can build your own. We offer a variety of gearing options and also include a 3/4HP motor with each module. If you require a custom size or shape of Track Module, we can design and fabricate any length or shape you require. We also have the largest 4 and 6 wheeled platforms available. Although we offer a compact rover, sometimes you just need something bigger and stronger. With the release of the V2 4WD and 6WD rovers, we offer the best large development platforms for your project with indestructible, interference free Poly/ABS chassis, monstrous 8.5" tires and powerful hardened steel gear motors with dual bearing supports, you won't find a more powerful, or durable rover anywhere. And we made sure they are also the most affordable platforms as well with a new lower price. |

| NOTE: The new V2 modules have replaced the previous versions. They include new upgraded 5/8 " Aluminum standoffs in place of the threaded rod standoffs, new delrin heavy duty drive sprockets, flushmount stand off bolts and thicker track sections. The flush side panels mean they can be bolted or screwed directly to a flat surface and the new standoffs and sprockets, reduce weight and make the modules even stronger than before. All shafts and bearings have also been upgraded from 3/8" to 1/2". Our patented EMT Robotic Track design utilizing rugged 1/2" Poly walls, 5/8 " hardened aluminum standoffs and solid steel axles. The tread itself is an extremely durable polypropylene interlocking design with a Deep Diamond Rubber Tread pattern. The unique sprocket design guaranties the track will never slip or derail and utilizes a unique self-cleaning hinge design to keep the track working in the worst of conditions. Our track is also unlike any other in that it uses no tensioners or spring loaded idlers. The track will never stretch and requires no adjustments or maintenance. The lower section rides on 4 high impact Rubber/Poly wheels on 1/2 " steel shafts. The drive train consists of a 1/2" thick aluminum motor mount plate with a 4:1 Hardened Steel gear reduction on a 1/2" Stainless Shaft. Further reduction is accomplished with a heavy duty #35 Chain Drive in a variety of optional reduction ratios. All Shafts are mounted on sealed and shielded precision bearings. Includes an integrated 24V Motor. | The track can easily and quickly be removed for service and the 5/8" threaded standoffs allow easy disassembly and repair. These modules can be mounted in a variety of ways and are as simple as drilling and bolting directly to a chassis. They are also available with a raised 1" Rubber Paddle in place of the Deep Diamond Traction pads. These track sections are more expensive but offer an incomparable amount of traction in any situation. They are very powerful units capable of inflicting serious injury if misused. They are able to propel heavy rovers at high speeds and can cause serious injuries. Always use a motor controller with a no-signal failsafe to avoid inadvertent movement and exercise caution and common sense when building, testing and using your robot. (During testing we had a person bump the controls forward, by accident, while navigating a rover out of the building. One of the front corners of the track broke a hole through a door and pulled it off it's hinges. This only took a second to happen and could have been a person's leg it hit so please exercise caution when building large projects and we can continue to enjoy them safely.) |

EMT 6WD Platform This is the same basic unit as our complete video rover combos but without a controller, camera and electronics. This platform will allow you to retrofit the unit with your own parts if you need a platform to start with. Motors, tires and our unique wheel and hub mounting parts are included. The 6WD version is much larger for increased payloads, rugged terrain and stair climbing. Our rovers are designed to operate in any orientation and can be driven flipped just as well as right side up. It includes: - EMT's indestructible, lightweight 1/2" Poly/ABS Chassis - Six 8.5" X 3.7" agressive rubber tires with EMT's High Impact ABS Wheels.
